It’s apparently acceptable to not only NOT help customers find an item but also run outside and smoke cigarettes by the FRONT door. When contacting the manager about said employee, he said “well they’re allowed to have breaks”, I guess they haven’t been trained to say, “im sorry ma’am im on my break, let me direct you to an employee who can help”. I’ve worked in retail management my whole life. Their district manager needs to come in and cull majority of these incompetent employees including the sorry manager. They don’t price things appropriately or even at all at times, they’re selling damaged merchandise, they’re entirely freaking clueless about their own store, and they’re rude on top of all of it. I hate leaving online reviews. I do, because I honestly believe sometimes people just have a bad day, but this whole store needs to go. It’s worthless.
The staff is usually rude or unpleasant and the prices are typically High but it's a small town grocery store with a small selection. I wouldn't want to shop here for anything other than an "I forgot" an ingredient or pick up some snack items. The store is not dirty, it is just old and small but it meets the needs of this small town and the people who live here or travel through.
its alright to get a few items but never get meat here your better off at harveys in jesup
It has stuff you may need, instead of having to drive all the way to Hinesville. Not good for big grocery shopping.
The manager of this establishment is so rude! I don't know how the wonderful ladies who work there tolerate his attitude. I only go here if I don't have time to travel for 1 small item I forgot when I'm cooking and that's only because of the employees who are the best.
